Tradition
Precision is a tradition ever since Anton Tränkle had founded the company in 1889. Anton Tränkle, with his great personal commitment, pioneering spirit, and unrestrained curiosity about everything technical built the first factory building in 1899.
While Anton Tränkle's great forte was technology, his son Hermann excelled in business skills. This was an ideal complement when he joined his father's company after WW I. Anton and Hermann managed the growing enterprise together steering it through the rigors of the inflationary twenties and the following world economic crisis. Bicycle valves were the major Tränkle product up to the mid-30s. They were superseded by high-quality ball bearings.

In 1945, the company shared the fate of many other enterprises: dismantling of all machinery. But just as father and son were trying to bring about a new start, the company founder Anton Tränkle died in spring of 1946.
Characterised by a similar pioneering spirit to his father, Herman Tränkle rebuilt the company. Concurrently he decided on a new orientation of the product range which applies to this day: top-quality high-precision turned parts for almost all industrial sectors.
By joining the company in 1968, Gerhard Tränkle advanced the continuous expansion of the enterprise further. The production site in Elzach, built in 1977, opened up a new dimension in turned parts manufacturing and is known as one of the most modern and efficient in the world to date. The Tränkle brand name became international a synonym for dependability, quality, and service under Gerhard Tränkle's management.
Since 2008, Gerhard Tränkle is being supported in managing the company by his son Björn Anton. This insures that Tränkle Turning Technology remains your best contact for the competent development and production of top-quality high-precision turned parts, valves, and assemblies.
